Who’s excited for the Super Bowl? We’re just T-6 days until Super Bowl XLVIII kicks off. The Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos will face off at MetLife Stadium, in East Rutherford, New Jersey. I must admit, I am still not a huge professional football fan, but I will be supporting my “local” Seattle Seahawks since they are the closest team. Professional football might not be my thing, but I am super excited to see Bruno Mars perform at the Half Time Show. And the commercials, don’t get me started on the commercials. For one day only, I am not bothered by the commercials. I always look forward to watching the commercials.

Here’s an easy and fun way to spice up your existing dish-ware (or a good excuse to buy something new too). One of my favorite party tricks is to layer candy in jars, glasses, shot glasses, you name it and I’ve tried adding candy to it! I always feel like the layered look is literally “eye candy.” It’s the perfect way to display candy for your guests and the kids always love how it looks! Heck, the adults love it too!

Let’s face it, I am a Mom of 4 young kids so New Year’s Eve usually consists of board games, eating, watching a movie, more eating, and a little drinking! By the time New Year’s Eve rolls around, I am so worn out with all the hustle and bustle of two kids birthdays and Christmas that I can’t possibly think of throwing together another party!
