Here’s an easy and fun way to spice up your existing dish-ware (or a good excuse to buy something new too). One of my favorite party tricks is to layer candy in jars, glasses, shot glasses, you name it and I’ve tried adding candy to it! I always feel like the layered look is literally “eye candy.” It’s the perfect way to display candy for your guests and the kids always love how it looks! Heck, the adults love it too!
For this project, I got inspiration from these cute little spoons. Yep, that’s how it all started. I saw the spoons at Target and had to have them! Then I had to figure out what I was going to do with them! Ice cream was just too easy! I was going to make some verrines, but I was too lazy! Candy was much easier and a lot faster too!
My first idea was to stick suckers coming out of the top! I was driving to a candy store to hunt some down when I was applying some EOS Lip Balm and it hit me. That’s it! I decided to put them on the top of the candy shot glasses. I’m obsessed with EOS Lip Balm. I want them in every color. These little ball balms just make my heart sing!
Isn’t that fun and easy! Use this trick for your next party. This would be super fun for a Valentine’s Day party too! Ooohhh! I almost forgot to mention the best part! It’s removable! So, when the party is over or you want to change things up, you can simply peel it off. It’s that awesome?!
