Kennedy is the most girly girl ever! Which is a drastic change from my rough and tumble boys! She loves all things pretty, pink, and sparkly! She loves to be in dresses and tutus and I knew photographing her would be a blast. So, I called my partner in crime Courtney, of Courtney Jade Photography and she agreed to photograph my little darling.

A few weeks ago, the call went out. Yes, the Call. Silhouette was calling all crafters who were passionate about creating with Silhouette products and who take beautiful photos. Clearly they were talking to me, right? Well, I thought so and I took a few minutes to fill out the application. This was a hard core application too. No question could be unanswered and we had to include photos of our work. EEEK! I tell you what, they were not messing around! They take crafting just as seriously as I take party planning. At that point, I knew we would get along great! So, I am overjoyed to finally announce that I’ve been selected! Yes, I’ve been selected to work on the Silhouette Fall/Winter Design team. I’m beyond excited to share with you my Pottery Barn Inspired Witches Brew Halloween Party. This was a styled shoot I did with several super spooky and equally beautiful items that Pottery Barn was kind enough to send me. This party was super simple and would be easy for anyone to recreate. I can’t believe it’s already that time of year again. . . Back to School time. Sniffle, sniffle. Wait, who am I kidding, I am jumping for joy that my little ones are going back to school. I am sure that many of you can relate. For the most part, our summer has been super fun, but I can’t wait to “miss” the boys. Right now, I am sick of saying “Keep your hands/feet to yourself,” “Don’t jump off of your bed/the couch/the walls, etc,” and “Can you please pick up xyz.” Ahhh! I am looking forward to having just a couple of them home at a time. I know just a day or two in, I will totally miss them all, but until then, I’m counting down the days!!!!
