What do you get for the person who has everything? A sweater? A candle? No, you get them a gourmet edible gift. I’m so lucky to live in Portland, Oregon. We are famous for our craft beers, but we also have the most amazing culinary geniuses living among us. There is everything from unusually paired ice cream creations to incredibly delicious gourmet popcorn. I love to eat and dessert is my favorite meal. Dessert is a meal, right? At any rate, I would rather have a dozen cupcakes than any gift! I guess a way to my heart is through my stomach too.

If your family is anything like mine, we always have leftovers on Thanksgiving. In fact, I always look forward to having a turkey and cranberry sandwich the next day. The only problem is, there is never an easy way to transport the leftovers. No one wants to give out all of their coveted tupperware containers. This year, I’ve decided on a much easier route.

Thanksgiving will be here before we know it. Many people take pride in setting a beautiful dinner table for the holidays, even if it’s just once a year. A great way to add a little bit of personalization and “wow” factor is to include place cards. These Simple Place Cards for Thanksgiving are the perfect addition to any place setting. You can use place cards to let your guests know where you’d like them to sit for dinner. Or are you always getting asked, “What’s this?” at dinner time? Birthday banners are a fun and decorative addition to any party! I recently designed a “Here’s the Scoop” ice cream collection and made this adorable banner to go with it. As you may or may not know, I am new to using my Silhouette CAMEO. Though, I am not new to designing. Creating this banner was super fun and rewarding. I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.
