I always get so excited when past clients reach out to me! I think it’s the biggest compliment when I get return business or referrals. Over the years, I’ve done people’s birth announcements, Christmas cards, birthday invitations, etc. It’s fun for me to watch families grow and change. Obviously, my business is near and dear to my heart, as are all of you!
I am loving this invitation. I designed a custom card and a corresponding birthday balloon with all the party details printed on it. These are perfect for zoo or circus themed birthday parties. Check out our It’s an Animal Affair. . . .
A month or so ago, one of my previous clients contacted me, asking if I could create a custom invitation for her daughter’s third birthday! Custom invitations are a fun way for me to tap into my creative side and create something new and different. Angie, little Addison’s mom, wanted something a tad different from my “normal” invitations. She wanted an invitation where the details were printed directly on a latex balloon. Yippee! Something really unique and different. I had seen a few ideas floating around pinterest, so I immediately started brainstorming. The party is being held at their local zoo, but we didn’t want the invitation to be overlay juvenile or too “zoo-ish.”
I am beyond excited with how these turned out! The custom printed balloons also exceeded my expectations! I love this invitation so much that I will be offering it in a couple different colorways too. That’s not all, I will also be offering coordinating party printables for this collection too. I am already planning on using this for one of Kennedy’s upcoming birthday parties.
I’d also like to say a special thank you to my adorable little model, who was more than accommodating to go and change his clothing to coordinate with my color palette. Thank you Jackson!
If you don’t want to spring for the printed balloons, I am also offering this invitation in my shop without the physical balloon. It’s equally as cute, but just doens’t have the added “Wow!” factor.
I’d love to know your thoughts on this! Please “Pin” these and pass them along! Also, any design challenges are welcome. I already have a scroll “Princess” invitation in the works which I will be happy to share with you when that’s complete!
xoxo,
Jess
