Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. When you have a family, sometimes it’s easier to celebrate Valentine’s Day at home with your spouse and kids. We partnered up with Ciao Bella Gelato + Sorbetto, who was kind enough to sponsor this post, and came up with a fun cocktail that you can make right at home. Guess what? We only used two ingredients! Simple and easy. We thought you’d like that! Also, it’s just as easy to create a mocktail version that the kids will love too.
Since it’s Valentine’s Day, we thought it was appropriate to select Ciao Bella’s Pacific Northwest Raspberry Sorbetto to use as the main ingredient in our cocktail. Check out the rich vibrant color! Isn’t it just perfect for Valentine’s Day? Being from the Pacific Northwest, we know how amazing our berries taste. There is just something about fresh berries that makes us feel at home. We were new to the Ciao Bella Gelato + Sorbetto brand, and were pleasantly surprised when we tasted this delicious, sweet, but not sour Pacific Northwest Raspberry Sorbetto. Many times raspberry sorbets can taste a bit sour or tart, but not this one. It was smooth and creamy and oh, so amazing!
Simply scoop your favorite Ciao Bella Gelato + Sorbetto into your favorite glass (Remember we used Ciao Bella’s Pacific Northwest Raspberry Sorbetto). Then add your favorite sparkling wine. We don’t drink a ton, but since Valentine’s Day is usually celebrated in hues of pink and red, we thought adding a Pink Moscato to our drink would be pretty and tasty. You can also add your favorite Prosecco, Moscato, or other dessert wines. Be careful because it does tend to bubble up, but that makes it even more fun!
You can also create a fun and easy garnish too. We used fresh raspberries that we added to a jeweled food pick. The fresh ones were not super stable, so if I did it again, I would probably freeze a few and then skewer them. Doesn’t this just look lovely and enjoyable. Well, we can confirm that it tastes incredible too. It’s like having a cocktail + dessert all in one glass. Do you want to know something even better? Ciao Bella Gelato + Sorbetto are certified non-GMO. We strive to eat organic or non-GMO foods, which makes this treat perfect for the whole family.
If you are looking for a recipe you can make for your kids to enjoy, simply pick up your favorite Ciao Bella Gelato + Sorbetto and add your favorite non-alcoholic sparkling beverage. The combintations are endless. If you are looking for suggestions try these pairings: Pacific Northwest Raspberry Sorbetto + sparkling lemonade, Blueberry Passion Fruit + Sprite, or White Peaches Sangria + Ginger Ale. You can literally make any combination you want.
We’d love to hear your experience with Ciao Bella Gelato + Sorbetto and what your plans are for Valentine’s Day. We also how you try our Ciao Bella Raspberry Sorbet Cocktail Recipe. Will you be staying in and creating one of these tasty cocktails or mocktails? If you do, please send us a note or tag us in a photo. Happy Valentine’s Day!
