Happy Valentine’s Day my Little Lovies!!! I really love doing fun Valentine’s for the kids to take to school. This year, I let the boys look through my Pinterest board for inspiration. Skyler and Emerson settled on doing a “You Blow me Away” Bubble Tape Gum Valentine and Jackson wanted to do a Tic-Tac-Toe Valentine using Tic Tacs. If you follow me on Instagram I was going a little crazy yesterday assembling these, but it was all worth it!
My day would have been a little less stressful if I didn’t have to run around yesterday trying to track down another 32 things of Bubble Tape. What the heck? That’s just how I wanted to spend my day, right!? NO!!! You might be wondering why I waited until the last minute?! I’m sure it has something to do with the weather, but I ordered 40 things of Bubble Tape Gum from Amazon on February 5th and it still hasn’t arrived. Ahh!
Otherwise, everything was pretty easy and just a matter of printing and cutting. I used my Silhouette CAMEO to cut out most of my items. If you don’t have a Silhouette CAMEO you need to get one. This little machine is a total life savor! In full disclosure I blog weekly for Silhouette, but would not endorse them on my personal blog if I didn’t think the machine was amazing. It really is my go-to crafting tool!!
I used the Strawberry Fields Tic Tac because they are two toned. They sort of match, but I thought it would be fun to make a box wrap for these. I really like how they turned out and I can’t wait to hear what the kids think of them!
All of these Valentine’s will be available in my shop today, so Pin them or bookmark them for next year! I hope you have a lovely evening with your loved ones today! We are an old married couple so we don’t have too many plans. I’m thinking of getting a heart shaped pizza and after the kids go to bed, my hubby and I can binge watch House of Cards ( Season 2 is available today)!!!!
