Okay, so I don’t think I’ve ever done this, but I can guarantee you that it will most DEFINITELY happen again! One hundred thousand seven hundred and ninety five is the number that comes to mind when I think of how many legos I pick up or step on in a day. Legos and I have a love hate relationship. I hate that I find them everywhere. In my bed, under the pillows, on the floor, in shoes, on the steps, in the bathroom, I mean it. They are everywhere! But I do love how much my kids love them. I love the things they build. I love how excited they get when they get a new lego set or the coveted mystery minifig. I love how they can spend hours building and creating only things their little minds can conjure up!
The boys were off of school on Thursday and Friday of last week because of school conferences. They were playing nicely or maybe not so nicely. Sometime they argue over legos, though we have thousands of them. I don’t think I will ever understand that. Oh, BOYS!
When Skyler designs something really cool, Jackson and Emerson always want him to make something similar for them. This time was no exception. Skyler designed the most perfect little camera. I wish I was half as creative as he was. It was so cute, I had to photograph it. He was so proud of it too. I love how proud he was. It just made me so happy to see the sense of accomplishment and pride in his eyes!
Jackson ended up making his own camera too. It is bright and colorful just like he is! I love that he made it his own, even though he was modeling Skyler’s. He is gaining more confidence and being more adventurous with his building.
I didn’t even tell you the best part. They kept saying, “We even made a strap, just like Courtney’s and Mommy’s.” They made a camera strap just like the ones we have. Well, ours are more girly and feminine, but the same idea.
I just had to brag about these cute little cameras. I am so proud of my smart, kind, creative children! I know there will be many more brag posts! They are what keeps me going! I just want to share how great they are with you too!!!
