I’m still loving the Cactus party trend. It’s still one of my favorite themes to date. I threw this party last spring and I think it’s something that is still on trend! The nice thing about this theme is that you can choose your own color palette. Hopefully, I’ll inspire you with some of our fun Cactus Party Ideas.

Starting out, we went with a very warm and summery palette including neutral tones, shades of coral, and green too! I’m loving the neutral feel with just a pop of color, like we did with the coral color.

My primary focus was including these cactus vases throughout my tablescape. You can pick up these vases super inexpensively. Simply choose your favorite cacti, sand, and get to work. If you want step-by-step details, be sure to check out our Layered Sand Art Cactus Centerpiece post. You will get all the nitty gritty details on how to make these beautiful vases all on your own.

Plus, you can repurpose these vases and incorporate them into your current home decor. In fact, I just added these to the shelves in my living room! They are still so pretty and require very minimal care.

We styled each place setting with these mini DIY Cactus Place Card Holder. They were super fun and totally went with our theme. They are simple to make too. Just take a styrofoam craft ball, a mini terra-cotta pot, and some paint. I also used my hot glue gun and glued on a few little beads. Then I used a floral pin to attach our guest’s name. Super easy, and a great take away for your guests.

Another fun DIY I created for this party was this stunning Burlap & Lace Table Runner. It was so easy and stunning. I literally layered burlap and lace. Make sure you check out the simple instructions to find out more.

We served these incredible cacti and succulent cupcakes made by the talented staff at Kyra’s Bake Shop. They were totally the stars of this tablescape. They were almost too pretty to eat, but you know how much I love cupcakes, so naturally I ate them.

We also served these Baked Churros with delicious dipping sauces. Check out the recipe for detailed instructions. They were super tasty and looked awesome in these mini clear flower pots.

You can even use these coral cupcake boxes so you don’t eat all the cupcakes on your own! I added some lace ribbon and a cute Thank You tag. I just love how these look.

We served this pretty layered cocktail too. Can you believe these wine glasses are plastic? They come in a bunch of colors too! They are one of my go to glasses.

We also placed these drinks on a cork coaster. I added a cute pattern to the coaster too. In hind-sight, this probably should have been a little larger, but you live and you learn. I loved sticking with the neutral feel and color.
