If your family is anything like mine, we always have leftovers on Thanksgiving. In fact, I always look forward to having a turkey and cranberry sandwich the next day. The only problem is, there is never an easy way to transport the leftovers. No one wants to give out all of their coveted tupperware containers. This year, I’ve decided on a much easier route.

I went to my local Cash N Carry! I purchased a set of 50 Kraft 100% recycled containers (I am an Oregonian after all, and an avid recycler) to use for Thanksgiving leftovers. So, I must be a little slow, but why didn’t I think of this sooner? Is this how you deal with leftovers on Thanksgiving day? If not, I think you totally should. These containers were only around $13 too. I think that’s a pretty small price to pay for such an easy to-go package.

Next, I went to the Silhouette Shop and picked out a shape and frame set-fancy label to use as my “leftovers” label. I went into Photoshop designed my label and opened it in the Silhouette Studio. I ungrouped and resized the shape and frame set-fancy label to 5″ wide by 3.58″ to fit on the top of my to-go containers. I couldn’t decide which one I like better so I designed the label is color and black and white. Which one is your favorite?

Using the registration marks, I printed my labels on full sheet matte label/sticker stock. I used my Silhouette CAMEO to cut them out. Then it was just a matter of adding your favorite Thanksgiving day leftovers, some twine, and sticking the label on. Pretty simple, right?

Want to print these for your Thanksgiving Party? Here are the links to both files. If you have a Silhouette machine, the instructions are listed below on how to create your own labels:

5. Ungroup the shape and delete what you don’t need and resize to 5″ wide by 3.58″
6. Print
